- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪At any age, finding a lump in your breast is frightening. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect that the office you schedule an appointment with treat you with some respect, and understand there is a sense of urgency in determining what it might be. It took Linda Pai’s office three weeks to schedule an appointment with me, and then they cancelled it four times stating she was in surgery and couldn’t make it back in time. After the third time, I was no longer feeling understanding, and expressed my concerns. I have to reschedule my schedule every time they cancel and make arrangements for someone else to fill in for me at work. I requested an appointment time with some sort of guarantee that she would actually be able to see me. When my fourth appointment was cancelled just over an hour before I was supposed to be there, the office staff, including the manager, were unkind and uncaring. In an already stressful situation that is obviously urgent, their poor attitude and continued excuses left me feeling that if they can’t even handle scheduling appointments, then I would never feel comfortable as a patient or trust any examination they gave.
